HOTEL REVIEW: STEPiNN – Ess Kay Ess Villa Dlf Phase 1

DLF Phase-1 is quite a prime location in Gurgaon. If someone is coming from Indira Gandhi Domestic or International airport, this Guest House is at just a few minutes’ drive. I find this hotel budget friendly, as the price of the room, they are charging is quite affordable, while the services offered are good enough at this price. Usually, hotels and guest houses available at this price in Delhi and NCR, aren’t neat, clean and comfortable.

Staff at the guest house is quite friendly and courteous.We reached the guest house before the check-in time, the staff was kind enough to provide us early check-in as my husband was supposed to leave for a meeting immediately.

About the Rooms: Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, and bathrooms are well-equipped, Clean & Hygienic. Tea & Coffee maker, wardrobe, TV with cable connection, free wi-fi are some of the additional freebies that we enjoyed during our stay in this guest house.They clean the room and change the bed sheets every day. Rooms are spacious and airy, (in case you don’t want to use AC, during good weather) and have a work desk with chairs. If you have kids along with you, you can request the staff for extra bed in the same room. Rooms are capacious enough to accommodate an extra bedding.

Location: My husband was travelling for his work and I was accompanying him, assuming that I might not get anything to do, when he is at work.But choosing this guest house was the best decision that we made on this trip. The Guest House is very close to many good places to hang out such as Kingdom of Dreams, Oyster Water Park, Ambiance Mall, MGF Mall, cyber Hub, Dt Mega Mall, Sahara mall, Galleria Market and Vyapar Kendra. In fact, Delhi isn’t too far from this guest house.

The place is also well connected with Delhi through Metro (SikandarPur Metro Station is the nearest one), but I preferred to pick up a cab for my excursion to Gurugram and Delhi. The hotel staff made the arrangement for me to get a cab for the whole day that took to me the nearby places. The Guest House is also few minutes’ drive from Markets of South Delhi.

Food: Food in their dinning is also good – Freshly prepared and decently served. They will also serve the food in the room, if required.
Though it is a guest house but they provide all the facilities like good hotels do.

Safety: The place looks safe. Guest House is also equipped with CCTV cameras for further safety. There are lockers inside the room for storing valuables.
In our three days stay in this guest house, I didn’t feel away from home even once.

All and all, I give five stars to Ess Kay Ess Villa for its rooms, services, location and connectivity to rest of the city. Thanks for the great experience within the budget, in an expensive place like Gurugram.
