It is not simple bread and butter gelled together, but more than it. It is bun – locally called the gutlipav, which has a nard crust and a soft inner. The brad is cut into slices and generously buttered and served with Irani chai. That’s the only way of having it.

5. Misal Pav:

This authentic and rugged dish is made with a mix of sprouted lentils that are curried and topped with potato (batata) crisps, farsan, chivda, poha, tomatoes and chopped onions. This highly hot and spicy dish is eaten with local pav breads. Have some yoghurt along with it to cut down the spice.
